Williams County Jail Roster

Adult jail housing for Williams County runs through the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, often called CCNO. The facility is in Stryker and is operated by the Corrections Commission of Northwest Ohio for Defiance, Fulton, Henry, Lucas, and Williams counties. Because it is a regional jail, the official roster is not limited to Williams County arrests. It also includes other member counties, federal court entries, U.S. Marshals prisoners, Findlay Municipal Court allocation prisoners, and ICE detainees when they are housed at CCNO.

The main online custody source is the CCNO inmate search gateway. It leads to an Active Offender Population PDF after the user accepts the disclaimer. CCNO warns that jail information changes quickly, may contain errors, and should not be relied on for legal action. The facility also says inmate information may still be obtained by phone at 419-428-3800. That warning matters for Williams County inmate records because a person can be booked, released, moved to court, placed on a holder, or transferred to state prison before a reader finishes checking a PDF.

The active-offender file inspected during research was a 137-page alphabetical PDF dated June 24, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. It listed names, booking numbers, descriptors, case numbers, courts, charges, statuses, in dates, and estimated out dates. Use Williams County Jail Records

The CCNO roster is a PDF search, not a typed web form. Open the official gateway, accept the posted terms, download the Active Offenders file, and use the find function in the browser or PDF viewer. Searching only by name can miss a person whose name is misspelled or entered with a middle initial, so use the court and case fields when they are known.

1. Open the CCNO inmate search page and read the disclaimer before using the Active Offenders link.
2. Download the PDF and search by last name first. Try first name, booking number, case number, court name, or charge words if the first search fails.
3. Check the court field for Williams County markers such as Williams Co Common Pleas or Bryan Municipal Court, but remember that a Williams County resident may be held on another court's case.
4. Read all rows under the same name. One inmate may have local charges, a holder, a federal row, or a sent-prison status at the same time.
5. Call CCNO at 419-428-3800 when the result affects travel, bond, visitation, release, or legal action.

The CCNO booking report is a separate tool. It offers previous-day and previous-seven-day booking PDFs, which help when a person was just arrested. CCNO states that booking reports are not the best source for updated charge information, so current custody and current charge status should be checked against the active-offender PDF and then verified by phone or court records when needed.

Williams County Roster Fields

The search-field inventory is short because CCNO publishes a download gateway rather than a live database form. The practical "field" is the PDF text itself. A careful search uses the name fields first, then known identifiers from a court, warrant, police report, or family notice.

The booking report has its own controls. Previous Day Bookings and Previous 7 Days Bookings download recent intake PDFs. Use those reports to spot a new booking, then use the active-offender file for current custody status. Neither PDF is a certified court docket.

Williams County Inmate Profile

CCNO's public file is a roster-style record. It shows enough to identify a person and trace the custody row to a court, but it does not publish a full booking jacket. The hidden items are just as important as the visible ones. Bond, housing unit, mugshot, address, medical information, full date of birth, and court date were not shown in the inspected active-offender PDF.

Williams County Records Fallbacks

If the PDF is stale, blocked, unreadable, or missing a new arrest, the access chain moves to CCNO by phone, CCNO public records, Williams County sheriff records, and the court that controls the case. CCNO accepts public-records requests by email at ccnoregional@gmail.com, by mail to Public Records Request at CCNO, by phone at 419-428-3800 ext. 201, and in person during public-records office hours. CCNO lists those public-records hours as Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The Williams County Sheriff's Office is a separate fallback for sheriff-created incident and arrest records. The sheriff's official page lists Sheriff Thomas Kochert, 1425 E High Street, East Annex, Bryan, Ohio 43506, phone 419-636-3151, fax 419-636-2935, and public-records email wcso@bright.net. The sheriff's records policy says records are available between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on weekdays, except county holidays. Williams County Booking Records

CCNO's First 48 Hours material gives the local booking sequence. The booking department receives the inmate, inventories personal property, receipts money, asks identifying and contact questions, issues an identification wristband, and uses a body scanner to detect contraband. Booking also includes medical and suicide screening, photographs, fingerprints, and an inmate handbook. DNA swabbing may occur depending on the charge.

Newly booked inmates must take part in booking, health screening, and mental-health screening. CCNO says inmates shower, their clothes are placed in a property bag, and a CCNO uniform is issued. Bedding, linen, and a hygiene packet are supplied. During booking, the person is given the chance to make at least two collect phone calls, though calls may be delayed for a reasonable time if the person is violent or intoxicated.

Court timing is local and practical. CCNO says newly arrested inmates appear before a judge on the next regular scheduled court day, often by video arraignment. Arraignment is where bond is reviewed, appointed counsel may be addressed, and the next court date is set. Williams County Bond Holds

The CCNO active-offender PDF inspected for research did not show bond amounts. That means the jail roster can show custody status and court rows, but it is not the right place to confirm the current bond order. Bond may be controlled by Bryan Municipal Court, Williams County Common Pleas Court, another county court, federal court, immigration custody, probation/parole, or a holder from another authority.

Bryan Municipal Court publishes the clearest local bond detail for misdemeanor traffic and criminal cases. It says bond may be posted at the court from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and at the Bryan Police Department at other times. That after-hours instruction is for Bryan Municipal Court misdemeanor traffic/criminal cases. Felony bonds are cash only there, and the police department is not authorized to accept surety bonds. Common pleas felony matters should be verified with the Clerk of Courts or the court's docket.

Holder

A custody row or notice showing another agency or case may prevent release.

Detainer

A request or notice from another authority seeking custody or notice before release.

Sent-prison

A CCNO status that can indicate a prison-sentence transfer path rather than ordinary local release.

No-bond hold

A custody state where payment alone will not secure release.

Williams County Jail Visits

CCNO uses non-contact video visitation. Family and friends schedule visits in the CCNO lobby on a video monitor or online through GettingOut/ViaPath. Visitors must use full legal names when scheduling. Adult visitors need valid picture ID with date of birth, may be checked for warrants, and may be subject to metal detector screening or other search procedures. Minors age 17 or younger must be with a legal or custodial parent or guardian.

Most inmates are allowed one lobby video visit per week. Facility workers, Public Works, Work Release, and HITT inmates may receive two lobby video visits per week. Off-site visits may exceed one per week, but availability and cost can limit use.

Williams County Mail Funds

Regular family and friend mail for CCNO inmates uses a scanning address, not the Stryker street address. The format is Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio, OH; inmate name and inmate number; P.O. Box 247; Phoenix, MD 21131. Non-privileged mail is scanned into the tablet system. Physical mail is not given to inmates except legal mail. The sender must use a full return address, and CCNO lists many prohibited mail items, including cash, checks, stamps, envelopes, blank paper, phone cards, clippings, and individual publication pages.

Packages are restricted. Court clothing may be sent if requested by the sentencing court, and prescription medications sent by mail are routed to medical staff for review. Package mail uses the Stryker address with the inmate's full legal name and booking number. Confirm the rule before sending any item, because perishable packages and food items are returned.

Williams County Custody Systems

A Williams County inmate search can involve more than one system. CCNO is the first stop for adult pretrial detainees, local sentenced jail inmates, people awaiting ODRC transfer, and many federal or ICE detainees physically housed at the regional jail. After a felony prison sentence, the person generally leaves CCNO for the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction. CCNO says most male prison transfers from the member common pleas courts go to the Correctional Reception Center in Orient, while female transfers go to the Ohio Reformatory for Women in Marysville.
